As a sommelier and wine shop owner since 1999, I decided to begin a new and exciting mission in 2006. My passion and intrigue for wine led me to Santa Barbara wine country where I began to harvest grapes and create my own Syrah for the first time. With the guidance of my friends in the wine growing industry, I have sourced fruit from some of the top vineyard sites in Santa Barbara County. I have been making the wine each year with my friends at Carhartt Vineyard at their ranch in Solvang. Mike and Brooke Carhartt have been incredible mentors, and their winemaking style reflects what I have always envisioned my wines to be. With their expertise, I have been able to create unique and complex Syrahs that have been a great success in the retail and restaurant industry. I appreciate the support and patronage of those who have enjoyed these wines along the way.
